🌟 Big thank you to OHSU for the glowing review! 🙏 We're thrilled to have helped resolve your workplace conflicts effectively.
At In-Accord, we're dedicated to fostering workplace harmony and productivity through mediation. If your organization faces similar challenges, don't hesitate to reach out! Let's navigate through conflicts together and create a more positive work environment.
𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮 – The agenda is the map crafted to help parties navigate through their problems. The mediator can actively manage and refer to it to help parties work through their discussion points. Example: “It sounds like there are several things you need to discuss, but for now, let’s return to this item about the cats...”
How would YOU handle it if someone kept trying to veer away from the agreed-upon agenda?
When there's a conflict, we often think we know what it's about... a barking dog, interruptions at work, whether a purchase is necessary or not. However, if we put on virtual X-ray goggles and look through the surface-level conflict, we see the true positions and interests driving the conflict. Now, we can redirect highly-charged emotions into valuable actions.
As a mediation facilitator, we clarify "[what's wrong] ...that we can all agree to?" Once we have some common ground, discussions surrounding resolution can begin.
Here are some examples of what clients might agree on even though they are in conflict:
• We are missing important deadlines. • Several valued employees have resigned. • The atmosphere is uncomfortable. People don't want to come to work. • Too much energy is being diverted into the conflict rather than our work.
Is it time to call a mediator? We are confidential, professional, highly skilled, and experienced. Don't keep putting it off. In the words of a certain shoe company, JUST DO IT.
We are thrilled to introduce four new Consultants to the In-Accord Team! Their expertise and insights will greatly enhance our Mediation and Training services.
Where do we begin when there's workplace conflict? Has it been going on so long that no one even remembers what the conflict is really about? youtu.be/HBTXTzcGKsc?si=xnFcp7ZOJMMyMTuw
Do you go into conflict resolution with a chip on your shoulder? Ok, how about an attitude that says, "If they don't say xyz, then I'm leaving!"?
