Lynn Hunt
MS, SPHR
Lynn Hunt began her mediation career over 30 years ago. Since then, she has helped manage and resolve conflicts in a variety of settings including workplaces,
neighborhoods, schools, and the juvenile justice system. In addition to mediation, her career has included teaching, organizational development, and human resource management. Lynn served as an adjunct faculty at Washington State University, where she taught Negotiation for over 15 years. She has worked in a range of organizations including manufacturing, technology, healthcare, and the federal government. In addition to her work with In-Accord, she serves as a reservist Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisor for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Her education includes a B.S. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Western Washington University, an M.S. in Organizational Psychology/Labor Relations from the University of Oregon, and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Willamette University College of Law. She earned a Senior Professional in Human Resource Management (SPHR) certification in 2004.
Lynn helps employees improve their working relationships. She recently supported two colleagues who wanted to restore their workplace relationship after a series of challenges. With Lynn’s assistance, they were able to share their perspectives and common goals and return to a productive partnership.
Lynn and her family enjoy the many outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest offers including biking, skiing, paddling, and hiking. They love traveling to experience new places and cultures and have spent time visiting Asia, Western Europe, Polynesia, Central America and throughout the US.
