Mark Prenovitz


Mark earned his master’s degrees in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Utah, and in Conflict Resolution at Portland State University. Earlier in his career, he worked as a meeting facilitator in the child welfare system where he lead a victim-offender mediation program for the juvenile justice system. In this capacity, he trained new mediators. Mark also volunteered as a mediator in small claims court system. Among his professional highlights was the culmination of a long, emotional, and rewarding mediation in which the victims of an expensive property crime hugged the youths who caused the damage.

Mark has worked in the medical insurance field where he trained hundreds of employees in interest-based problem solving, and fostered partnership programs between management and labor unions. His work with In-Accord is a continuation of his passion to help individuals and organizations resolve conflict in a collaborative and productive way.

In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and friends, taking walks, catching up on critically acclaimed and less-than critically acclaimed movies and tv shows, and watching too much football.
